    Dec 02, 2010 · linux mint 10 is just released it looks and feels nice once you get installed, however they used the same kernel used on the ubuntu 10.10 install cd so for me it took over 10 minutes to boot on my x58 chipset, but once i got it installed I downloaded the kernel (2.6.35-23) from ubuntu proposed and loded it up and works just fine at that point.
