Apr 12, 2017 · Hello, I have an ASUS laptop and have been having problems with the Bluetooth driver (Qualcomm Atheros Bluetooth 4) since the update from Windows 8 to 8.1: I can switch it on and try to add a BT device, but it just keeps searching without coming up with anything even if there are several BT devices turned on in the vicinity.

There is however a 'help' topic 'how to set up bluetooth or other wireless connections, which starts by saying you can transfer information through bluetooth and other wireless means, it then goes on to describe these 'other' wireless methods adding a note that 'Bluetooth is not supported by any version of windows server.
