Mar 02, 2007 · Hi Sten, Just to check where is the issue exactly you'll need to connect your Xbox 360 directly to the modem. So remove the PC connection from the modem and connect the Xbox 360 only. If Xbox Live worked fine when connected directly to the modem, this means it's something in the PC and you'll need to disable the firewalls on your computer.

Some additional info as I was helping him yesterday: - the SSD ID is visible but when attempting to connect he gets the "unable to connect to network" message. Doesn't even get to the password prompt - we tried adding the MAC address to the allowed list, changing the wireless channel, manually setting IP/Gateway/DNS, no luck - xbox one can connect to other networks just fine... - other devices ...

Have tried both an Xbox 360 controller (wireless receiver) and an Xbox one controller (both wireless receiver and wired) and both are giving me the same issue. Basically, everything is fine but the controller just randomly disconnects or freezes during a game.
