Is there going to be any support in the near future for smart cards authentication with the MAC client, currently its only username and password.

I figured it out. There's this neat line in the instructions from VMware support that essentially reads "smart card auth != SAML auth" for connection servers. Our issue stemmed from us requiring smart card auth on the CS, and since the auth is coming in as a SAML ticket - the CS is rejecting it.

We have Horizon 7.3.2. We are trying redirect a smart card without result. I found this article where it says that only two models are compatible: Configuring Card Reader Redirection but it´s for horizon 7.7.9. It´s the same for 7.3.2? Only support this two cards? Regards

Sep 22, 2011 · Does anyone know if contactless smart cards are supported with View 4.x (or 5)? I'm not sure if contactless cards are treated in a similar way to contact smart cards?? We want users to be able to walk up to a proximity card reader, touch the card (maybe enter a PIN) and then login to their broker / desktop. Is this possible?...has anyone done it?
