Aug 03, 2009 · There is no such thing as MP4 codec as MP4 is a container which can hold MPEG4 ASP or H.264 video (among the popular ones). Like Andy said above, read the link and add 3rd party repos to have support for such things.

Hi, turns out I had to do a "sudo zypper dup" and let zypper upgrade a few packages from openSUSE to Packman versions, now I can have mp3 and mp4 playback. However, how exactly do I add only Packman essentials instead of the whole Packman repo?
