Aug 06, 2007 · I've just reinstalled Sims2 on a new Vista system as Administrator, and the kids want to play on their Standard User Log-in but are unable to access the Downloaded Content from the EA Games/Sims 2/Downloads content etc., in their game. Had the same problem in XP Professional, so I had to allow the kids access to my Administrator login.

Nov 05, 2010 · I am trying to run sims 2 on vista, it's installed fine but when i try to run it it keeps saying it can't find the file. i've looked on the troubleshooting and it told me to go to properties, compatibility and then select 'run as administrator' but my computer won't let me select it.
