Nov 18, 2008 · Is not very recomended use ADF Faces in Netbeans. In this case you have to use the Trinidad Components(ADF Faces Donation) that is the API donate from ORACLE to the Apache Software Foundation. If you use Netbeans i recommend that uses JSF and not ADF Faces.

ADF 4.0 is way older than what we are currently using. For Eclipse please search on the net. I would recommend you to use JDeveloper for ADF development. Using Jdeveloper is quite like using Netbeans/Eclipse. You would have to familiarise yourself with different keyboard shortcuts. – MohamedSanaulla Sep 12 '13 at 10:06

Oct 16, 2012 · JEE 6 was released in 2009 and yet as of 2013, Jdeveloper does not support JEE 6 in Release 11. When is the expected release date of the Jdeveloper version that will support JEE 6 specs (EJB 3.1, JAX-RS, CDI, Web Profiles, etc) ? I don't want to install latest version of NetBeans which does support JEE 6 if I can help it ..... Thanks - Yesh
