Apr 14, 2013 · Howdy all, well I been trying out the fancy dancy new LMDE and love it, all but one issue, I been trying to put the new mdm on it but it has a dependency issue with the libc6 it uses 2.13 I need 2.15 to get it to work, anyone out there know if can shove libc6 2.15 in lmde, other wise I might have to go back as I need to make themes for that fancy dancy new mdm.

Dependency is not satisfiable: libfontconfig1 (>= 2.9.0) I'm presuming I should update something in my Library files, but the related online answers provide no clear direction into how to best locate those files and identify the errors, and what steps to take when those errors are found.

Not sure about your issue, as I'm not an apt user, but it seems you have a ton of stuff that was installed as dependencies to other stuff. You can get rid of it all with apt-get autoremove . Run it every once and a while to clean up your system.
