Sep 19, 2014 · u are right but this game is JRPG and huge open world so it needs multi rendering support rather than DX9C single core performance. Certainly. But, how confident are we that the Japanese won't screw up with PC tech? Nevertheless, it would be great to have proper DX11 support since the game calls for it.

But if even that is not working out for you, then most likely the game data is broken and some of the files might be corrupted. In such a case, reinstalling the game is the best option for you. Of course DX11 can look better than DX9. That is just tautological. The point is, until the majority of people's hardware (and I'm talking PC here - not console) cataches up with current technology, it is better for game designers to cater for the lowset common demoninator rather than the hightest.
