Aug 23, 2009 · USB 2.0 PCI Hub with Windows 2000. In a computer running W2K with SP4, I have tried many methods and drivers to get this hub working. The current driver version, via Hardware / Device Manager is Microsoft 19/06/2003 V.5.0.2195.6717.

littlewhitedog has done it again by now adding USB 2.0 driver for Windows 2000 to the Windows XP one's which can be downloaded from this link, USB2.0_W2K_RC2.zip, but do remember that these are beta drivers so use at your own risk though I havn't heard of any problems with the XP ones.

Sep 22, 2008 · I have an older computer, running windows 2000. It has two usb ports in the back, two in the front. When I plug in external USB drives (harddrives, or thumbdrives), Windows does not seem to recognize the devices. One external harddrive caused Windows to display a popup that said it didn't have the appropriate drivers.

Apr 28, 2009 · Thread: USB drivers not found in Windows 2000. USB drivers not found in Windows 2000 Windows 2000 SP4 has lost it's mind, and it is causing me to lose mine! Bottom line: I think a recent windows update messed up the USB drivers on my machine. I cannot install simple "plug-and-play" USB devices on the machine.
