Nov 30, 2018 · What I would like to know, is the best way to create a Mac OS X VM running in Windows Hyper-V host. I'm currently using a Windows 10 based desktop running Hyper-V to create a test lab. I'd like to run a Mac OS X VM in Hyper-V in my test lab.4.3/5(186)

Sep 16, 2014 · All current and recent Macs have support for Intel's VT-x technology for running virtualisation systems like VMware Fusion, Parallels, Virtualbox, and VMware ESXi. This is not the something as Hyper-V which is a specific product from Microsoft. VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop, and Virtualbox all run virtual machines within OS X.

Mar 28, 2017 · Turn off Hyper-V to use Windows 10 on your Mac. Mac computers won't boot into Windows 10 if Microsoft Hyper-V is enabled. Turn this software off to use Windows 10 in Boot Camp. Microsoft Hyper-V must be off for Windows 10 to start up on a Mac using Boot Camp.

Mac OS X. Using Parallels you can run OS X and OS X Server on a Mac running OS X. Apple, under no circumstances, will license OS X to run on anything but a Mac. Obviously, given that there are Hackintoshes out there, it would be fairly trivial for VMWare et al to virtualize OS X…

Oct 26, 2014 · OS X is licensed by hardware, the only potentially legal way to do it is if you're running Hyper-V on your Mac. You can't purchase a license of OS X for install, the license is the hardware. You can purchase install media for (re)installing on a Mac, but that's really all Apple allows for.

Feb 18, 2017 · If you have VMware Fusion on your Mac, you will be able to create a Mac OS virtual machine. This virtual machine should also run in VMware Player, which is free to use for noncommercial purposes on Windows. I have never tried to utilize such a virtual machine in Hyper V, but it seems theoretically possible.

HyperV has absolutely no support for Mac os. You'll have to make the hooks necessary to boot it yourself. (Reprogram hyper-v, although it's illegal under the TOS/ license)

Oct 23, 2017 · The Mac OS X virtual machine might work on a two-core CPU, but the experience will probably be less than smooth. Of course, it's a given that our CPU must support IOMMU virtualization: VT-x for Intel and AMD-V for AMD. This is not a problem for most modern CPUs, but it doesn't hurt to check. The quickest way is to run the freeware Securable app.
