I have had my Dell E510 for eight months and went to the Drivers & Downloads page for my particular Service Tag. From the long list, most of which didn't apply to my computer, I downloaded the BIOS update and Dell Support 3.2.1 just out of curiosity.

It installs (version 3.1.30.0) and it is announced that it can be launched but then only momentarily a blue window with the SupportAssist wrench symbol is shown. When I don't install it from the Microsoft Store but directly from the Dell Support site ( version 3.1.0.142) Settings\Apps & features shows 2 "SupportAssists" installed:

I am having the same problem as well! I am also having issues with my computer that is only 6 months old. The HUGE problem that I have, is I relocated to Costa Rica so I can't easily call the support line or take my computer in for service...there is a service center in Costa Rica, however, it is 4 hours from me.
