Jan 20, 2018 · I read the original thread title which specified PS4 and not PS3. Movian does not support x265. You have a few options but it depends on the network setup at your little brothers place. Is it possible for you to transcode the video down to x264?

Oct 17, 2018 · threads=0 is x264 default number of threads. Too many x264 threads increases latency and have more encoding memory usage. Too many x264 threads can hurt quality in constant bitrate mode and near-constant bitrate mode called VBV (video buffer verifier), due to increased encode delay.

After finally getting a PS3 last week, I got around yesterday to start testing the playback of H.264 files on the PS3, and today, I finished writing a guide for it.
