Yes I have a wrist problem from years ago using a drill that twisted in my hand, play tennis , work with tools, climbing ladders etc. Since I have used the wraps it has supported my wrist enought that I can still do these things today. When I'm performing or practising, standing up in particular, my left wrist which would be placed on the fret board, starts to hurt, like after an hour or so, would some form of wrist support help ease that pain such as wrist tape or an actual wrist brace of some sort. any recommendations please.

(I get mentally tired after about 6 hours, and don't feel like playing anymore.) Jun 15, 2011 · So, I've been diagnosed with carpal tunnel in my fretting hand wrist and have a brace for sleeping. The doctor tells me I'm fine without it during the day, and it doesn't seem to be a problem when I'm working.
