Add voice and video support for all protocols that support it. This WILL happen eventually, but it is a rather large undertaking and very few core developers are interested in working on it. Jun 20, 2018 · Filmmaker and professor Marlene Booth first met Kanalu when they both served on a panel to review film proposals. They ended up working together on Pidgin: The Voice of Hawai‘i, a documentary that made its broadcast premiere on PBS Hawai‘i in 2009. Shortly before the completion of Pidgin in 2008, Kanalu passed away at age 54.
