Jun 25, 2009 · kernel: [ 15.767810] warning: `VBoxHeadless' uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use) I just wanted to check if this is expected (I didn't find a posting on this). All VMs are Linux based. One is 32-bit (Vyatta) while the others are Ubuntu 9.04 64-bit. It only occurred once in the log while the system was booting up.

Sep 12, 2012 · > [ 160.448576] warning: `VirtualBox' uses 32-bit capabilities (legacy support in use)" I think the warning is harmless. I also get it from another native applications (e.g., ntpd) and IIRC, the message came from a library (libpcap) but is pointless. Greetings, -- Camaleón -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected]
