Apr 24, 2018 · Been doing some digging and there is Ubuntu support for USB-VGA adapters based on the DisplayLink chip. I expect some latency but this is 2D desktop stuff; I just need to montor some apps that track phone system status, etc. The DisplayLink sites mentions support only for certain versions of their chips though.
