May 15, 2013 · In fact I am writing this right now dictating to my iPad while I am reading the article via Splashtop on my desktop, but I need the microphone passthrough so I can use Skype while I'm using Outlook, etc.. on my desktop house and offer the occasional verbal reply. lately I've just been using the Skype for business playing on my phone.

Jan 13, 2013 · If this could world simultaneously with normal Splashtop (Eg using an iPad (splashtop) and iPhone (microphone)); the desired overall result would be as originally requested. Perhaps you guys should look into a standalone app for smartphone with microphone support. (The apps I found eg. airmic were useless)

If you un-check the Enable sound redirection / Mute this computer (v2.2.0.1+) option (refer to Step 4), and have not properly installed Soundflower (with "Internal microphone" selected in Sound/Input tab during the Splashtop session), then you may still hear the Mac's microphone noises on your tablet/phone.

Oct 31, 2012 · I love that the app supports streaming audio. It works very well. I only wish that I could also stream mic and camera too. Let me be clear what I'm asking for. When using a program on the PC that would require camera and mic, it should use the camera and mic of the tablet instead of the PC.

Aug 02, 2013 · This has been suggested for over and over with no updates from support on development. Apparently not enough people are suggesting this be added because requests get a "Splashtop does not support microphone streaming at this time" response.
