Apr 07, 2017 · The value of the Child Support Grant is R420 per month from April 2019. This will increase to R430 from 1 October 2019. To receive this grant you must be the primary care giver of a child who also lives with you in South Africa. If you are not the biological parent of the child, you must provide proof of your primary caregiver status.
