Apr 12, 2016 · Hi all, We have two separate SBS 2003 (non-R2) based networks at present, primarily due to budgetary reasons. I'm a little confused about when support ends for the product, since there doesn't seem to be a clear indication on the Microsoft site.

Sep 18, 2013 · SBS support occurs on the EOL of the last product in the suite. Generally this is Exchange. So in the case of SBS 2003, or SBS 2003 R2, it can be Server 2003 (both), Exchange 2003 (both) or Sharepoint 2.0, now superseeded with Sharepoint 3, so does not count.

SBS 2008 will be out later this year- probably third quarter. MS is still being a little cagy about the actual date, but they are ramping up their marketing efforts already so it'll be soon. sbs 2003 R@ will follow the same life cycle that sbs 2003 does - so take that as End of support in 2013

Oct 07, 2013 · Windows Server 2003 will transition out of extended support on 14th of July 2015 . The Lifecycle site’s FAQ has more information and details on support options if you are not able to complete your migration prior to the end of support dates. Make sure that you are able to migrate to a supported product prior to the support expiration date.
