Jan 17, 2016 · Upgraded to Windows 8.1. Samsung ML-1740 printer worked for about 2 weeks and then died. Tried running compatibility mode and installing earlier version of the printer driver, but it said that I was missing a 0x800f024b file.

Jan 12, 2010 · Can't get ML-1740 to print I just loaded Windows 7 (64 bit) to a clean drive and tried to get Samsung ML-1740 to print. At first the OS didn't recognize it even though it was connected directly with a USB cable, but then it did.
