Aug 07, 2017 · Try to directly import the mkv as sourcefile in tsMuxer, and see if all elementary tracks are recognized. If yes, you can directly mux output to m2ts container. I don't think I've ever tried to directly remux mkv with TrueHD only into m2ts only with tsMuxer, so you'll have to try & find out. Good chance things will be ok. Cheers

Nov 17, 2016 · it will work only when you have a m2ts/ts file with the original THD+AC3 core - mkvtoolnix removes the core AC3 from Dolby TrueHD and only bitstream is possible, but as the others guys explained - optical/coaxial SPDIF can b**/passthrough only i.e. DVD audio (DTS or Dolby Digital) 5.1
