Apr 18, 2010 · I think compiling VLC with old amr packages should get u samr support. Imp point to notice is : Even ffmpeg to removed support for traditionally developed 3GPP's amr_wb & amr_nb. They got it with opencore_amr . the way it went for AAC with developement of FAAC ie Free AAC ! I think, VLC going on same path, yet support for windows to come up.

Apr 20, 2010 · Can you share the sample video file. If its samr, you can play it on windows vlc or realplayer. MPC with codec should also play it. There are thousands of media players in Windows ! Nokia Media player do support samr as Nokia phone create amr file recordings. There is always way out with ffmpeg conversions ! Try it. Cheers,
