Jul 29, 2016 · Building a new NAS today, and the Quick installation locked up showing "Formatting Hard Disks 24%". After about 40 minutes I restarted the device with Qfinder (Windows 7), and it is now 2 hrs 10 mins into synchronizing volume, RAID group 1, and it has reached 8%.
