When I try to use curl for that same request, I get " enable REST support in WEB-INF/conf/axis2.xml and WEB-INF/web.xml" as the response frm the vendor site. I'm guessing that soapUI does something that curl does not. Does anyone have any suggestions how I go about resolving this.

If there is give the priority to the WSDL files and using those Axis2 web service will be created. If no WSDL files are found then it goes through services.xml file to find the service implementation class.
