OpenAL is a cross-platform 3D audio API appropriate for use with gaming applications and many other types of audio applications. The library models a collection of audio sources moving in a 3D space that are heard by a single listener somewhere in that space. The basic OpenAL objects are a Listener, a Source, and a Buffer.

I ask because it's not working on the GenyMotion emulator running 2.3.x, however it's working fine in GenyMotion running 4.x. While I normally shy away from this license, it actually meshes really well with Android apps, because the end user can use any of a number of free backup programs (such as ASTRO) to create a backup APK of your app.
