Dec 14, 2012 · That seems very counterproductive. If he is in jail/prison, he can't pay child support. There are certainly better ways to collect child support than this. License suspension is one of them. Another is a contempt action. Garnishment is also a better option. A probation revocation is not going to solve the problem.
