I hope that is indeed what it was, while running on Half16 with no HDR monitor I had some really weird visual glitches in high-contrast situations (during an in-engine cutscene the entire image went green, red or blue and black on rotation, it was really odd), I've now switched back to Compressed, let's see if that doesn't occur again the next time I'm in a Vault.
