After contacting both Sonos and Fortinet tech support, the summary was that the Sono units needed to use UPnP thru the wifi network (between all AP radios). Fortinet said the product purposely does not support UPnP.

I have a 60D Fortigate. I know that fortigates don't support UPnP right out of the box or from what i read they don't support at all. I currently have VIP for my PS4 for ports.

It marks live checks as down and removes the routes. We had 4 default routes on our Fortigate and three of them got marked as dead. Not sure what actually triggers this. I created a support ticket and support confirms they were able to reproduce in lab. They tested with 6.0.6+ and confirmed working as intended in those versions.
