Feb 16, 2017 · If SSH1 does not appear in your available protocols it is likely your installation did not provide SSH1. Did you install this yourself or was it installed by someone else? Was the installation customized to remove support for the SSH1 protocol? If needed you can run through the installation again and ensure that the SSH1 protocol is enabled.

SSH1 is insecure so OpenSSH 7 disabled it in normal builds. You should rebuild the package if you want support for an insecure protocol. It would be against Arch's principle of respecting upstream decisions to override this for the official package.

Feb 04, 2003 · It doesn't mean people still won't try to break it. I can still use ssh1 because I upgraded to the latest version of the commercial ssh (1.2.33). I personally don't like openssh.
