Jan 01, 2016 · I am talking with an xbox support agent via email and he is being told by Microsoft support that the xbox one controller is preinstalled on Windows 8.1. That doesn't seem to be correct though because I've looked at the drivers preinstalled on my computer and only the xbox 360 controller driver is preinstalled and available.

Sep 11, 2017 · But the guide button not only does not work with steam how it should work, it actually makes the controller stop reacting to inputs. The only solutions i find for the guide button are to turn of the xbox dvr, but its a solution for windows 10 as windows 8 does not has this app. Also i cant check it on usb 2 as i dont have any, i only have usb 3.0.
