Oct 19, 2015 · Windows 7 Ultimate includes DirectAccess. Windows 8.1 Pro does not. Both will upgrade to Windows 10 Pro. What happens to DirectAccess after a Windows 10 Pro upgrade? Our company would really consider DirectAccess, but at 40 people, we're too small for Enterprise licensing.

As I checked the prerequisites on TechNet for both Windows Server 2008 & 2012, it is supported only for Windows 7 Ultimate, Enterprise, Windows 8 Enterprise & Windows 8.1.
