    The Wii mini does not support the use of an SD Card.     The sticky is ancient and needs to be revised somehow. I haven't used any myself, but yes, they do, the only catch is that games released before the system update that allowed the Wii to use them still can't use them (Most notably Brawl and Excite Truck).
