May 24, 2012 · What does "Negotiated Link Speed:3 Gigabit" mean when I have a sata III drive and connection? I have an Early 2011 13" MacBook Pro and purchased a Corsair Force 3 120gb SSD to replace the HDD. It's all running fine (kind of). Can you install SSD PCIe 1TB into a 2011 MacBook? So I'm trying to figure everything out because I would really like a pcie hard drive in my macbook. Same story for me with MacBook Pro Late 2011, even the Apple genius’ worked on it for 2 hrs couldn’t figure it out. Just buy crucial MX500 SSD will work, samsung 840 evo also will work, samsung 850 evo and samsung 860 evo maybe don't be work.
