Dec 08, 2011 · Yes, they certainly are HSPA compatible as is the 3GS. Only the iPhone 4s supports HSPA+, the iPhone 4 does not. Not to be rude, but read the specs that Apple has posted for the 4 and 4S, see the link in my previous posting. Both the 4 and 4S support HSUPA and HSDPA.

In the iPhone 4S’ case here in the USA, it’s silly to argue about whether or not the phone can decode 64QAM if AT&T doesn’t even use it. So there you go, iPhone 4S is indeed a HSPA+ device even though in the tech specs page, Apple states that it is compatible with HSDPA and HSUPA network.
