Oct 28, 2011 · I looked at the feature navigator, and for the 3640, even with the Enterprise Plus feature set, it didn't list IPv6 EIGRP support. It appears that IPv6 EIGRP routing on that platform may not be supported in any feature set.

Either using ipv6 router eigrp <AS-number>, or by using EIGRP named mode which supports both IPv4 and IPv6 in the same EIGRP instance using address-families just as you see it in BGP.. EIGRP named mode is enabled by using an instance name instead of an AS-number.
