Aug 26, 2013 · I have the wired 360 controller for windows, brand new, but when I play dead space 1 the game won't recognize slight movement or aim with either of the joysticks. This is the only game where I have the problem though, I have deadspace 3 and it works perfectly.

Yep. Works perfectly. Also when you play with keyboard and mouse, it shows PC controlls, but as soon as you push a button on xbox 360 controller, the game shows xbox 360 controlls.

First one had native 360 controller support. This one probably will to. Most PC games now have native support for it.

Some games on PC you needa controller Just Cause 2 but when I played the first Dead Space I tried to use the controller but it didn't feel right . It worked better with a mouse and keyboard. This one i might use a controller. well see.

Mar 15, 2014 · Im using a genuine wired 360 controller. Works with every other game but dead space 2. I can use the d pad to scroll through the start menu in game. But when I try to set up the controls in settings nothing. I can highlight the controll to change then no response from any button on the controller.

The only controller Dead Space likes is the Xbox 360 controller. It's the only officially supported controller, since you can't redefine the buttons on any other controller. If you insert a non-360 controller, it will detect it and automatically map the buttons for you, but the buttons will be wrong.
