Hi Ak, Our btconnect email service does not support IMAP, but you can enter the POP3 details and receive emails to your iPhone successfully. As you probably know, POP3 email by default is set to download your emails to a device once, but if you go into the account settings, then advanced settings you can enable the option to leave a copy of the messages on the server.

The phonecall from a BT email technician I was promised for between 2pm and 4pm on Fri 9th never came , probably because BT knew that they had fixed the problem by then. Nevertheless I will be chjanging my Broadband and land line supply contracts to one of their competitors as soon as these come up for renewal.

I was given a BT email address to use but BT don't seem to support IMAP. Why are BT still using POP3? All ISPs support POP3 but it's generally a last resort for any mail client these days. Possibly some trick using yahoo.com for the servers? ... I've never recommended BT as a Broadband provider and at this point I very much doubt I ever will.

These are all on my BT user account covering phone and broadband. 2 of these addresses link successfully to our Outlook 365 account and our android phones , by way of IMAP. Those two have never been a problem. The one that has just failed, is unfortunately my business e-mail address!
