Sep 16, 2012 · Snow Leopard is very stable at this point. The only updates are security updates, as needed. Yes, except for no Safari 6. iTunes and security updates like from Java are current. 10.6 has over 50% OS X market share, 10.7 about 25% or so and 10.8 was just released, so perhaps 10%.

Support is meant as currently supported by Apple and able to run the latest OS. A first generation MacBook shipped in 2006, is now 7 years old, and is still used by a lot of people, still supported by developers, and still being offered security updates by Apple if it’s running Snow Leopard.

May 03, 2018 · Apple does still has a plan, though, even if they don’t describe it publicly. For quite a few years, Apple has consistently updated the last three versions of macOS—in other words, the current release of macOS and the last two releases—with security updates.

There is likely to be a large number of unpatched security holes in Leopard at this point. However it is unlikely that Apple would publish such a list and I'm not aware of anyone else who maintains such a list. Another issue is that third party software developers may not support Leopard anymore.
