Apr 05, 2006 · I want to set my DLink wireless router (DI-624) for WPA encryption for me laptop, which is a Powerbook, which runs on 10.4.5. Lovely. It doesn't work. Not yet at least. Internet Connect says that there's a problem joining the Airport network. I have it set for WPA2 Personal on both systems. I even tried Hex password in capital letters and numbers.

Not very impressed at all. --EDIT: Sorry orion, I didn't get your post until I posted my update. I'm using the DLink DI-624 with the DWL-G520 PCI Adapter.

For instance, Ratz and I both have "DI-624 Rev_C" routers... Ratz found his router is stable with "Firmware version 2.50, UPnP enabled and WPA/TKIP(?) or WEP/TKIP(?)" settings... I found our router stable with several different Firmware versions, but because I wanted to use WPA2 I had to get one of the newer BETA firmware releases stable...

I have a Billion Bipac 7402VGO Wireless Router and am trying to connect my Inspiron 6000 with its Pro/Wireless 2915ABG Network Connection.
