    The Bluetooth Mesh Profile specification was released recently, and this BlueZ release comes with initial support for it in the form of a new meshctl tool.     Feb 02, 2017 · Currently, there is no HFP support what so ever. The RFCOMM and SCO IO threads are tailored for HSP profile. I thought for a while about actual HFP support, however I don't know how to accomplish that and keep bluealsa simple (bluealsa should be only for audio management).

    With this release BlueZ only supports the new Bluetooth Management kernel interface that was introduced in Linux 3.4, so essentially this is the minimum kernel requirement for BlueZ 5. For Low Energy support at least kernel version 3.5 is needed.

    Jul 10, 2017 · I can see that you are not using master snapshot of blueaz-alsa. I would recommend (if it is possible for you) to compile a fresh master snapshot. I've recently added HFP support (in your version there is no HFP support at all). Furthermore, you could test some "new" functionality, which could simplify a little bit your usage of bluealsa.
