Oct 29, 2011 · AP Sona is strong in a sense, but she can't do as much as a Support Sona, in my opinion. Support Sona is very annoying and helps her team much more than AP Sona can. And, like Thamoo had said already, Sona's AP ratios aren't that great so the items like Aegis & Shurelya would be more beneficial to you as Sona and your team.

Nov 28, 2013 · Even if you repeat that comparison with 60 AP in season 3(Assuming athene's unholy grail), the current sona wins. And let's face it, you're going to have alot more than 100AP. She needs 100 AP to be as effective as she was /with her spells/.

Nov 30, 2012 · As an AD you can maybe use 3 alacricity+1 summoners wrath - You have a little bit more diversity there. However, The Tiers 2+3 are for both classes completely written in stone: AP: Blast; Arcane Knowledge; AD: Deadliness; Weapon Expertise; Just NO diversity there. I always liked on some AP's to use Butcher for my 9 points in Offense.

After losing the passive on her heal that gives her a stronger heal on allies who are below 40% HP, and then having her heal and shield nerfed again, it takes almost her entire mana bar to heal up an adc after a bad trade, since there is no inherent mana regen in the runes. I've mained Sona off and on since Season 3. Through 2 reworks.

Dec 02, 2012 · It's not that they are weak, it is just about peoples prefered play style, how about we just keep our calm and try to have a look at what season 3 will make of wierd twists to the meta. As an example of utility buff (I know you just mentioned janna/soraka thought) sona got her auras nerfed, which is pretty much a utility nerf.

Jun 19, 2014 · Maining morgana and sona as support since season 3, now Morgana being FotM and getting banned quite often to I've been sticking more and more to the likes of Janna and Nami. They have so much usefullness and are extremely fun to play maybe somewhat harder to master.
