Nov 14, 2016 · i have a web site i use but now when i log on it says your browser is not officially supported. make sure it is up-to-date to avoid security risk. i am using explorer 11 because in kasperskey( safe money. banking safe browser) only works with explorer 11. Compatibility View tells websites that you're running an earlier version of Internet Explorer.

Oct 21, 2016 · Well, I presume it will still take a while until Microsoft Edge will support promises, and when it does extension developers might not be able to drop support for older versions of Microsoft Edge right away. Also what if Chrome (or a new platform) will start to provide the browser namespace but doesn't support promises in the same step.

Namespaces rely on the kernel to provide isolation between namespaces. This is quite complicated to get right, so there may still be security bugs lying around. The risk of security bugs would be the primary reason not to enable the feature. Another reason not to enable it would be when you're making a small kernel for an embedded device.

Refreshed FF (64 bit) couldn't load Google due to certificate issues, deleted some file, still can't get get twitter videos to load. Recreated a brand new FF profile, still same issue, issue also exists in MS EDGE. Plugins all up to date. Keep getting message, Browser does not support video playback.

Some sites, like trello.com and many others tell that I seem to use old browser, or that my browser is not supported, and ask me to download Firefox 4 or older. Is it just irresponsible web-developers, who put this sign for any browser except those in a list, and who then forget to update the list?
