Have a new computer which has come with Acrobat Reader DC already installed. I am trying to open a Japanese language document and it is telling me that I need to update the Japanese language support package. When I try to do so, I can find no package for DC and I am told I need to download the older verison Adobe X.

Apr 04, 2007 · I have created several forms in livecycle with fillable fields, they mostly work fine when viewed in Reader v7. However one form, which appears to be not significantly different to the others, displays the following message when opened in reader v7. "The Japanese Language Support Package is required to display this page properly".

Dealt with this today. It seems to have something to do with the Myriad Pro font and pasting text from another application. I am working with LiveCycle and ran into this today.

I was aware of the foreign language font packs on the Adobe Reader Download page, so I downloaded them, installed them, and hoped that they would cross-over to work for Adobe Acrobat as well.. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. If I downloaded the same PDF and tried to open it in Adobe Reader, it was successful but Adobe Acrobat still gave the message above.
