Apr 04, 2008 · able to listen to music / movies from my lpatop. the laptop has Vista with the SP1 installed. when ever i play any music it skips and ther is also a delay for every 2 sec of music. The same problem occurs when i pair it with a phone without a AD2P support. Is ther any way i can make the same to the Windows media player AD2P complaiant ?

A2DP support can exist in older versions of Bluetooth. Windows Vista doesn’t support A2DP out of the box either. But with help of other drivers from Broadcom’s (formally WIDCOMM), Vista can make use of A2DP Bluetooth stack.

Nov 24, 2007 · I have Windows Vista, with a Logitech mini-BT receiver that comes with the Logitech diNovo Laser Desktop. I have a Jawbone headset and a Motorola S9 headset (supports AD2P)... I have everything working using WIDCOMM drivers 5.1.0.3600, except AD2P.

I also saw someone suggest that Vista SP1 might fix the problem, but I can't even get SP1 to successfully install on my system to know! The installation failure *might* be related to my Bluetooth situation since, upon restart after failure, a dialog box opens that says: ... does my bluetooth support A2DP? on my Inspiron 1520 I didn't have to do ...
