Nov 28, 2007 · per i video, o usi x11 come output (cosa che ti sconsiglio), oppure vlc scegliendo fra le opzioni avanzate il numero di adattatore xvideo pari a 2(anche questo ti sconsiglio, perchè usa la cpu sino al 70% !!), oppure usi mplayer patchato per fungere perfettamente con compiz (tra l'altro utilizza anche il famoso plugin video-playback)... qui trovi la patch

May 08, 2009 · - the catalyst driver doesn't support the 2.6.29 kernel (since they only support ubuntu and ubuntu 9.04 is still on kernel 2.6.28) - I have no idea why the git-versions of the open source driver don't work for me while they work for vacant.

I get direct rendering, but my compiz is very slow and I've not go Xgl installed because I've read that it slows everything down, and it is possible without Xgl.
