Sep 28, 2015 · Anyway, when I download XP Service Pack 2 (tried twice) and restarted, the operating system would not start and the only way I could get into the operating system was in safe mode. Not sure if there are items I need to download before installing XP Service Pack 2 or not but any help you can provide will be much appreciated. Thanks Chris
