Additionally we tried to disable XOP/MTOM Support in business service, but this did also not work. Our third idea was to use a binary-by-reference proxy which does the transformation. This proxy sends the message to a second proxy with binary by value setting, which finally sends the message to the business service (binary by value).

I want to create a Web Service in PHP, which can support MTOM/XOP.My Webservice Processing function shpuld be able to extract the attachment. As I googled I could find only WSF(Web Service Framework) as an answer.. Is there any alternatives?

Jun 09, 2011 · So, 11g BPEL / JDeveloper does not support MTOM? If I want to call an external web service as a reference from BPEL and the external web service supports MTOM what are my choices for passing attachments to the external web service, am I limited to inline content?

Jan 31, 2005 · Do you know the current status of SOAP 1.2 support and/or MTOM support in NW07 ABAP-based web services? From what I can see there is MTOM and partial SOAP 1.2 support in PI 7.1 so I guess that it is not supported in the current general WAS 7.0 (for ABAP)… Regards, Christian

Mar 14, 2017 · Hi Chris, this is because WCF runtime currently does not support Mtom. Potential workaround is try to disable Mtom on the service side if you have access to the service. If your scenario needs Mtom support, please go ahead open a issue for WCF runtime to consider adding the support.
