I have an old EJB (2.1) project that uses xdoclet (1.2.3) to generate the EJB interfaces. Unfortunately xdoclet makes it impossible to use generics in the method signatures. Is there a substitute or other way to to allow generics in the parameters? Here is the minimum type of generics use I'm looking for:

XDoclet has added support to generate a separate hbm file for a class thus allowing to extend one of our modules class even on the persistence layer. Say, for example, you want to extend net.smartlab.web.registry.Person class to have foo.bar.Employee which represents a Person plus some specific details (the employment position for example) you wish to persist on the database.

XDoclet is a tool to generate necessary interfaces and EJB deployment descriptors for the beans. XDoclet1.2.3 can not generate ejb deployment descriptor and interfaces for the bean if generic is used in the bean. It happens due to lack of generic support in XDoclet1.2.3 .
