    Jun 27, 2009 · I'm having some trouble getting mp3's to work with Fedora core 1 (Yarrow). I downloaded the xmms-mp3 file that was recommeded here in another thread, installed it and that did not work. I used rpm -e to remove xmms and the xmms-mp3 installs and then I used apt-get to get the newest version of xmms and the xmms-mp3 plugin. That also did not work.
